Hey everyone, today I want to talk about the brand new event ruins of titan, I will be covering this entire event step by step to look and talk about everything about it, but today our subject is about the very first stage of the before the expedition event that is the clues of the ruins stage, before the expedition event is the event prior to the actual ruins of titan.
1 – so what do you do in this first stage?
- Your goal is to collect shards (also known as map clues inside the game) the only purpose of these shards is to exchange for a chest from inside before the expedition event, you need 4 shards, one shard of each kind that is presented to exchange for these chests, after you exchange shards for this chest you will be given points which contribute to the event, more precisely, 1500 points for every chest that you exchange for, and you need 78500 points to open all the chests.
2 – where to get these shards from?
- To get these shards you need to open titan map clue chests or optional titan map clue chests, first I will discuss titan map clue chest, you earn these chests randomly while hunting monsters of any level, once you open these chests you receive the shards which I mentioned earlier, but what shards you get is completely random, but it’s important to note that the heart of the ruin shard is the most rare between them all and all players who played this stage can agree on that, after you hunt monsters you can find these chests in your items (bag) or you can click on the button which says “acquiring “ and you will be able to use them from there too.
- Optional titan map clue chests are obtained when you purchase packs, more precisely you are given one chest for every 300 gems which you receive when purchasing a pack, for example, a gold package gives 24K gems by default which equals 80 of these chests, these chests are very useful if you use them correctly, remember when I said earlier that the most rare shard is the heart of the ruin shard? That’s where you should use these chests from maximum gain.
Important note – there are some restrictions, because not everything that is purchased and gives gems counts towards this, so make sure you check it out before you spend, this is directly from the FAQ, Gems from Gem Packs, 7day and 30day Superstar Stockpiles, Elyanna’s Fund, Rising Lord Pack, Subscription Packs, and packs from An ROK Christmas Carol, Embrace the New Year with Good Fortune and Riches in the Mist, and trade-in don’t count towards this event.
3 – now that I explained the basics I will tell you what my best advice is and my advice will be quite simple, first thing you will need is stamina of course which is best earned through purchases from the alliance store which requires alliance honor, which is best acquired through donation to the alliance cannons and port of the void, and you can look for open alliances for an easy and fast gain of alliance honor, just go inside an open alliance, donate, and exit.
- Best way to hunt monsters in this event is to hunt monsters of any level, what you need is quantity and not quality in this event, high level monsters have the same chance of giving titan map clue chests as the low level monsters.
- Another piece of advice, if you want to compete for ranking in this event, then what you want to do is save up the shards which you earn and exchange them for expedition supply chests on the very last minute of the entire stage.
- And, when you open titan map clue chests, make sure that you don’t open in small quantities, try to open 50 at once or 100, although I believe that in the end it will be almost the same result, but doesn’t hurt to be safe.
That’s all I have for today guys, I want to say that this stage gives good rewards and it’s actually easy to finish, I will tell you why, the screenshot which is shown below was taken directly after I opened all the chests in this event, you need to hunt about 750 monsters to open all the chests in this event and you receive easy and free rewards, and this is much much easier than the tournament of kingdoms monster stage for example, in the tournament it takes about 2500-3000 monsters to open all the chests maybe even more depending on what card you use, so I really like this stage, some of my team mates opened all their chests for as low as 600 monsters killed and no money spent!
