Ingredients
For the Carne Asada Marinade:
1½ lbs flank or skirt steak
¼ cup olive oil
¼ cup lime juice (freshly squeezed)
¼ cup orange juice (freshly squeezed)
¼ cup soy sauce
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 jalapeño, chopped
¼ cup cilantro, chopped
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp paprika

½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp salt
For the Tacos:
Warm corn tortillas
Diced onion
Chopped cilantro
Optional toppings: salsa, avocado slices, radishes
Lime wedges for serving
Directions
- Marinate the Steak:
In a bowl, mix together the olive oil, lime juice, orange juice, soy sauce, minced garlic, chopped jalapeño, cilantro, and seasonings (cumin, chili powder, paprika, black pepper, and salt).
Place the steak in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over it, ensuring the meat is fully coated.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or for maximum flavor, marinate overnight.

- Grill the Steak:
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
Remove the steak from the marinade, letting excess drip off. Grill for 5-7 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until the steak reaches your desired doneness.
