Instructions

Shape the dough into a circle and cut it into 16 equal pieces. For evenly sized tortillas, you can weigh each piece.

Cover the dough balls with a damp kitchen towel and let them rest for at least 15 minutes, or up to 2 hours. Resting helps the dough relax, making rolling easier.
6. Heat Your Skillet
Set a dry skillet or griddle over medium heat.
7. Roll and Cook
- Roll out each dough ball on a floured surface into a thin circle.
- Keep unused dough balls covered with a damp towel to prevent them from drying out.
